Quick take: Darfur, anti-Semitism, and why you need an opposable villain when your moral compass is broken

 Nobody in the West cares about Darfur, but the U.N. has issued a feckless statement about the fact that another ethnic cleansing is underway.  The Massalit are being targeted, again.  The fact that the Massalit are Muslim rather than Jewish means that the U.N. can bring its useless self to condemn the horrific violence against them, even though the perpetrators are also Muslim.  However, the fact that the perpetrators are Muslims rather than Jews means that the coalition of leftists and anti-Semites who want Israel to lay down and die-- literally raped to death-- get no virtue-signaling points by raising hell, threatening and killing Jews in violent protests while they chant "gas the Jews" because they can't say the Massalit brought it on themselves by being money-grubbing Jews.  Their bigger problem is who the villains are.  The Massalit are Muslims, true, but the genocide being carried out is being done by Arab Muslims, and don't you dare say anything about them!  Better to keep silent about this one, for fear of being called "islamophobic," because that's worse than actually doing anything to stop a true genocide.

To those of us who just call genocidal maniacs what they are, regardless of identity group, this is a monstrous and uncomplicated act of evil.  The Massalit are Muslim, yes, but a) that is completely irrelevant because this is ethnic cleansing, b) that distinction shows how broad the category, "Muslim," is with nearly 2 billion in the world, and c) the fact that no college leftist or other virtue-signaling shill for Hamas will ever care about Darfur demonstrates that they only really care if they can yell about how evil Jews are.

"Genocide" is what Hamas says it wants to commit against all Jews, according to its charter.  Genocide is what is happening in Darfur, against the Massalit.  Let's see how leftists react when they cannot even pretend that Jews are doing it.  Will they pretend to care?

Can they find Darfur on a map?

Do they know that Darfur is a place, on Earth?

Ask these people, between the flecks of spittle being strewn into the air any time they conjure the mental image of Jews.  The idea of one group of Muslims, Arab no less, committing true genocide against other Muslims would short-circuit their leftist brains.
